A Project That Requires Continuous Coordination
During the sourcing stage of this UK villa project, the client already had a clear design direction, architectural drawings, and a detailed material list. However, the actual construction work in the UK was still progressing, which meant some technical details and product requirements continued to change.
This made the project different from a standard purchasing order. Product decisions needed to stay connected with the real construction progress.
Preparation Before the Client Arrived
Before traveling to Foshan, the client shared his villa drawings, design concepts, and material requirements with us.
Based on these documents, we reviewed the project scope, matched different product categories with suitable suppliers, and prepared an initial sourcing plan before his arrival.
This allowed the client to focus more efficiently on comparing products and communicating with manufacturers during his visit.
Visiting Manufacturers Across Different Categories
During the Foshan sourcing trip, we arranged visits based on the villa's actual requirements.
The client inspected and discussed products across multiple categories, including:

- Flooring
- Doors and windows
- Bathroom products
- Outdoor structures
- Smart home systems
- Swimming pool equipment
- Indoor furniture
Instead of selecting products only from catalogues, the client was able to visit suppliers directly, understand production capabilities, and discuss technical details with manufacturers.
Keeping the Project Moving After the China Trip
After returning to the UK, the client continued with the villa construction.
As new site conditions appeared and some installation details were confirmed, certain product specifications needed further adjustment.
We continued communicating between the client and suppliers, updating product information, confirming revised requirements, and helping manufacturers respond to the latest project changes.
The sourcing process has therefore continued alongside the villa construction, rather than ending after the initial China visit.
